Estrogens – generally help with menopausal symptoms; increase HDL (good cholesterol); decrease LDL (bad cholesterol); reduce risk of colorectal cancer; reduce bone loss; improve memory, mood, and energy; reduce the risk of type-2 diabetes; and are often prescribed in combinations:
· Estriol (E3)
· Estradiol (E2)

Progesterone - is prescribed for PMS and menopausal symptoms.
